Lots of dogs on the streets of Punta Arenas

Punta Arenas has a lot of dogs on the streets in Punta Arenas. Most are friendly, many are healthy, some are sick and have to be put to sleep, others have owners and the rest are live ok lives in the streets. A few even manage to escape our shelter to wander the streets again. Some are even famous. Chocolate was one of many. Some of these photos are mine, Jim Scanlon and the La Prensa Austral.
